ILLEGAL RADIO STATIONS HIDDEN IN "Smederevac-stove”
Ratel recorded 34 pirate radio broadcaster in Serbia.
Five TV stations work illegally
Belgrade, August 2, 2012 (Politika) - The interior of the white van is equipped as an electronic command center, and using this equipment, RATEL team maps pirate-radio stations broadcasting from urban shelters in Belgrade or Novi Sad or dugouts and attics in Melenci and Ruski Krstur. The "radio-hunters" said that "pirete stations" are hidden in places like basements and rooms while one station is hidded in "Smederevac-stove".
According to the latest report of the Republic Agency for Electronic Communications (RATEL), there are 34 illegal radio stations and five illegal TV stations.
From the stationary control and measuring centers in Dobanovci and Nis, RATEL's Controlling Department controls usage of radio frequency spectrum in the whole territory of Serbia, but Serbian pirates are very clever, so their "hunting" is done from a specially equipped measurement vehicles.
