“PRESS” JOURNALISTS IN “NASE NOVINE”
Belgrade, February 21, 2013 (Mondo) - The first issue of new daily "Nase novine" could have been found on newsstands as of today.
The new daily newspaper is made mainly by journalists formerly working in the recently closed daily "Press", as well as tabloid "Alo!".
Chief editor of the papers is Antonije Kovacevic, former editor of "Alo!" newspaper and internet portal "Telegraf". Djoko Kesic is chief-editor's advisor, who was the head of the "Kurir" and "Press" newsrooms.
Papers' director is Vuk Vucurevic, former director at "Press".
Newly formed daily resembles the recently closed "Press" the most in design and layout, however, it has not got an internet edition yet.
"Nase novine" staff stated yeterday before the release of the first issue of the newspapers that it would carry the voice of truth. The daily will be printed on 40 pages and will provide information from the country and abroad "in an original and identifiable way".
The papers will be sold at the price of 25 RSD, with the exception of the first issue, which is distributed to citizens for free.
