RBA TO EXAMINE PINK REALITY SHOW
Belgrade, March 22, 2013 (Dnevnik) - The RBA Council believes the accounts of the folk singer Andrija Era Ojdanic in the reality show "Farma" aired on TV Pink that had been involved in a relationship with a primary school student have violated the Broadcasting Law and Code of Conduct for Broadcasters.
Deputy Chairman of the Republic Broadcasting Agency Council Goran Karadzic told Tanjug that the proceedings were launched for taking measures if proven that the singer had had a romantic relationship with the girl. Karadzic said that the Council had the video material of the show would be delivered to the competent prosecutor's office to examine the nature of the relationship. If the relationship was sexual, the conduct could be treated as criminal offense.
TV Pink says the reactions to Ojdanic's accounts are justified, but at the same time are blown out of proportions.
"Ojdanic did not claim to have had sexual relationship with a minor. He only said to have been in some sort of platonic relationship with the girl. We would have never aired the account if it were otherwise. Of course one may wonder if the story was real, since Ojdanic is known for his made-up stories to draw attention to himself", said in the press release of RTV Pink sent to Tanjug.
