Karic brothers sue weekly

BELGRADE, May 26, 2004 – Satirical weekly Nasa Krmaca writes today that the Karic brothers have laid a complaint against it for insult and damage to reputation. According to the report the complaint was laid over what is described as an insulting article accompanying photographs of the plaintiffs in the edition of January 17, 2004. "For this reason the plaintiffs are demanding that Belgrade's Second Municipal Court jail Nasa Krmaca's editor-in-chief. The Karic brothers, Bogoljub, Sreten, Dragomir and Zoran, are each seeking 2.5 million dinars (about 36,000 euros) in damages," writes the weekly.
