Nominations for Broadcast Agency Council
BELGRADE, September 24, 2004 (B92) – The Culture and Information Committee of the Serbian Parliament on Friday proposed six candidates for election to the Broadcast Agency Council. The parliament will elect three council members from Aleksandar Vasic, Ljiljana Durdevac, Bojan Jovanovic, Vladimir Cvetkovic, Nenad Cekic and Vukman Covic. The council has nine members of whom four are nominated by the civil sector, the Vojvodina Assembly one. In addition to the three nominated by the Culture and Information Committee, members of the council, after election, also elect a ninth member who is required to live and work in Kosovo. The Broadcast Agency Council is to be convened by December.
