KARIC TO SELL BK TELEVISION

BELGRADE, November 29, 2004 – The leader of the Strength of Serbia Movement, business magnate Bogoljub Karic, is planning to sell his BK Television. “I’ll definitely give up the station. Because I’m now an active politician I don’t want to own a television station any more because this is nowadays considered manipulation,” said Karic. The Karic Group owner also said he had been under public attack for days because of his alleged promotion on BK Television during the Serbian presidential election campaign. Karic says he is convinced he will take 51 per cent of the vote to win Serbia’s next presidential elections. When this happens he will reveal the power centres which have been manipulating the lives of people in Serbia, he told Belgrade daily Politika.
