VOJVODINA MEDIA CENTER

NOVI SAD, February 18, 2005 – The “Spens Media Center” will start operating in the following month, in ”Vojvodina” Sports-Business Center. The Center is based on the model of Belgrade Media Center and will represent the core of the media events in the city of Novi Sad, for all press conferences and other promotions. According to Nenad Djuretic, “Spens Media Center” will be the public information service for all citizens of Novi Sad and wider public. The purpose of this company is to snatch the city out of the media provincialism. Deputy Marketing Director of the SBC Vojvodina Ljubisa Despotovic said that the contracts would be signed with the public communal companies, whose representatives would inform the public of their work on regular press conferences. “Our intention was to make the work of public companies as transparent and available to citizens as possible”, Despotovic said. “Spens Media Center” will be equipped with several computers and internet connection. It will have press clipping center, its website, and a press club for journalists.
