RTS ANNOUNCED STRIKE
BELGRADE, February 19, 2005 – The Radio Television Serbia Workers’ Union has announced a one-hour strike of warning for March 3. The strikers are demanding the adoption of an individual collective agreement for the public company of RTS based on the document which the union and administration had agreed upon, which was delivered to the Serbian Ministry of Culture on November 9, 2004. The union is also asking for the implementation of the Broadcast Act and the finalization of a full-time financial source available for the media group.
