“EXIT” ON RADIO BBC 1

LONDON, June 29, 2005 – BBC Radio 1 announced its broadcast activities at this year’s music festival “Exit” in Novi Sad. Radio 1 will broadcast shows across all four days of the festival, from Annie Mac, Annie Nightingale, Fabio and Gilles Peterson. Annie Mac said the Exit has become the coolest music festival in Europe over the years. “This festival gets bigger and better every year and I am proud to be kicking off the Radio 1’s coverage. The line-up is killer and I intend to seek out my favorite acts and some great new music to bring my listeners”, said Annie Mac. Jason Carter, Radio 1's executive producer of live events, added that “Exit Festival has a diverse and credible line-up and is our priority international music festival this summer”. "We plan to reflect for our listeners what is new and important in live music today”, said Jason Carter.
